Focused on stakeholder engagement and building a shared foundation for collaboration.
We are a multi-stakeholder platform supporting implementation of Indonesia’s Tuna Harvest Strategy through collaboration across science, policy, markets, and communities.
The Indonesia Tuna Consortium (TC) is a collaborative platform that brings together government, industry, civil society, researchers, and fishing communities to support implementation of Indonesia’s Tuna Harvest Strategy (HS).
Coordinated by Resonance, the Consortium consists of Masyarakat dan Perikanan Indonesia (MDPI), Yayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara (YKAN), Marine Change, Fair Trade USA (FTUSA), and Yayasan IPNLF Indonesia (YII), bringing together expertise across fisheries science, market development, traceability, and community engagement.
We support the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF) by strengthening fisheries data systems, providing technical input, and facilitating coordination across stakeholders involved in tuna fisheries governance.
We support sustainable tuna fisheries management across Fisheries Management Areas (FMAs) 713, 714, and 715 in Indonesia, including Sulawesi, Maluku, North Maluku, Papua, and surrounding archipelagic waters.

Tuna Talks is our flagship dialogue and engagement platform that brings together government, industry, researchers, civil society, and seafood stakeholders to discuss the future of sustainable tuna fisheries.
What began as a dialogue platform has evolved into a broader space for knowledge exchange and international engagement, connecting Indonesia’s fisheries reform efforts with global conversations on traceability, responsible sourcing, coastal livelihoods, and sustainable seafood trade.
Tuna Talks reflects Indonesia’s growing role in advancing practical and inclusive approaches to sustainable tuna fisheries governance.
